Located on beautifully groomed grounds beside the Catlins River and native bush, this venue resonates peace and tranquillity – no distractions from busy city life –ideal setting for your special day or to keep the focus on your corporate event. The Woodstock Lodge Function Centre was built to blend in with the bush environment, and the large windows and folding doors open up to this wonderfull view.
The Centre itself includes a large seating/dining area with wooden dining tables and chairs, dance floor, fully equipped commercial kitchen and bar area, a cosy burner to keep you warm in winter, and a large covered deck to cool off on during the summer. The front garden and steps are often used as the setting for outside wedding ceremonies.
Its your choice for the menu – bring your own (use our commercial kitchen or fire up the BBQ!) or work in with one of our local caterers who can do it for you.
At the end of the day, there is no need to travel …Relax and unwind in our comfortable, beautifully appointed accommodation – again, your choice ranging from top quality self contained units to tent sites!
Perhaps you could take some time out with a walk along the Catlins River Track, or a bus tour of the local Catlins area. Or perhaps just relax on the deck with a good book.
There are plenty of photo opportunities for new couples around the venue as well as nearby, such as Purakaunui Bay. During this time, your guests can relax on the grounds and soak in the peaceful surroundings with a glass of bubbly while kids play in the playground.
